The crux of the Razer Destructor™’s innovation lies in its proprietary gunmetal coating which yields a highly reactive surface. The result is superior tactility, improved responsiveness and enhanced tracking.

Measuring 350mm (length) x 280mm (width) x 2.3mm (height), the Razer Destructor™ provides an ample mousing area for lower-sensitivity gamers accustomed to performing sweeping movements.

Closer look

Destructor

Back shot

The package arrived in a plastic coated case. The first impressions where "WOAH?!" I was surprised of the size of the whole package and to tell you the truth i didn't expected a mouse pad to be inside.

Fractal technology

Logo

On every side of the package i found Razer logos and name of the mouse pad. The Destructor is surfaced with "Razer fractal technology". I am not 100% sure on what that means but it looks like this mouse pad is made of some kind of compounded carbon fiber.

Professional Gaming Mat

37% Better Tracking

Destructor promises gamers a whooping 37% better traction. So whether you are using the old optical mouse or laser mouse, this mouse pad will increase your traction substantially.

The package

Case

When i have removed all the cardboard i quickly found a storage case with mouse being inside of it. On the top of the case there is a beautiful 3 snake design. This just happens to be a Razers trade mark:)

Highly stylish

Instructions

When i have opened the case i found the Destructor inside. The feel and look of this package definitely leaves impression on the end users. Along with the mouse pad i found a small booklet about the Destructor and Razer in general. If you got time, its a good read.

Razer logo

Destructor logo

Looking at the mouse pad i found engraved logos in the bottom left and upper right corners of the mouse pad. It looks like Razer has used a laser to inscribe these logos in to the mouse pad. Very stylish!

Out of the case

Back of the Destructor

The measurements of the mouse pad are 350mm (length) x 280mm (width) x 2.3mm (height). 2.3 mm is rather thin. WOAH! The back of the Destructor is made of a soft rubber that will give you better control of your mouse pad.

Soft cut edges

Very thin

All of the edges were nice and smooth. The feel of the mouse pad is highly pleasant. It feels cool and the dimensions of the mouse pad give off that high class feel:)

Size comparison

Size comparison

Everything looks and fits proportionally on the mouse pad. This is not a small mouse pad you get when you buy a new computer or a mouse. Destructor wins any battle.\

Conclusion

If you're looking for the Cadillac of mouse pads, then look no further. We have just reviewed the Razer Destructor mouse pad and it is indeed the top dog in its field. In fact I feel weird even calling it a mouse pad, to me it's more like a space age super gaming surface. Just examining the packaging you know you're getting a far superior product than any other on the market today. It comes in a light weight carrying case specifically made for the mouse pad, when have you ever seen a mouse pad come with it's own case? Personally I’ve seen brief cases that don't live up this type of protection and style. This mouse pad is like putting a turbo charger on your car it adds performance and you'll notice the difference from the first time you take it out of it's case and put it to good use. The mouse pad it's self is extremely durable yet fairly flexible this is not like the cheap everyday floppy rubber and cloth ordinary mouse pads that clutter up your desk. This mouse pad is made from well-engineered material to be hard and smooth on the top surface and to be a rubbery gripping surface on the bottom to create a quick and stable platform for your mouse. The pad is quite a bit larger than the average mouse pad obviously catering to the gamming crowd. the bigger pad area coupled with the super slick surface makes for an increased gaming experience, You can tell this mouse pad was designed and built by gamers’ knowing that sometimes you need a little extra room for your mouse when flying a plane or helicopter or even when you're just trying to swing your player around quickly to get that perfect Head Shot. This mouse pad enables you to step up your gaming skills like never before. UMLan gives 10 out of 10!!

Some pros we found:

Highly durable, Stylish, Extra large slip resistant surface, and a Protective case that's easy to transport and store so it makes for a clean desk when not in use.

Some Cons we found:

The only con I could find isn't really a con. So okay it's a little pricey for a mouse pad but you get what you pay for and this is an excellent product regardless of the price. It's like you have the choice between an Enzo Ferrari or a Kia Spectra I don't know about you but I’m taking the Ferrari.
