First of all i would like to thank XTracPads for providing us with these samples we are about to review. Today we are going to be looking at a new gaming mouse pads from XTracPads, Logic. Logic is the first gaming mouse pad which has semi adhesive base and high quality plastic surface. When it comes to gaming, specially first person shooters, you want the best traction possible. Choosing your mouse surface is as important as having high DPI mouse. Lets take a look at the Logic and see if this would be a suitable item to bring to a lan party:)

Now that we got basic information out of the way, lets take a closer look at Logic.

Overview

3 Flavors of Logic		Features

XTracPads introduces Logic in three flavors Hex, Black and Pink. All these pads are virtually the same with in exception of the design. Each of the Logic mouse pads are shipped in their own envelope type package.

Stylish Logo		Like a Sticker

Trough out the whole package XTracPads has included many logos of their brand. One thing that jumped in my eyes was Made in USA:) Each of the mouse pads come with a small case badge sticker. You can customize your case or your work place with these badges. They are paper thin but very much adhesive.

Very thin		Semi Adhesive Material

The Logic comes applied on to the waxed paper so it is very easy to remove and install. The actual mouse pad is made from a semi adhesive material which allows uses to apply, remove and reapply this mouse pad over and over again.

1 mm? Whoa!		Width

I was very much surprised when i looked at the thickness of Logic. It ended up to be only 1 mm thick! WOAH! I have never dealt with mouse pads as thin as this. Even thou Logic is very thin, it provides maximum traction for your laser mouse. I have measured the width and height of the Logic and it measured 8.5 inches by 11 inches.

This mouse pad was precisely cut and i am very impressed so far. The design is very stylish and everything seems to be honkey dorey however. While testing for durability i have purposely folded one side of the mouse pad and then tried it to straight it out. Lets face it, there are some gamers out there that do not take care of their accessories and joysticks and mice will be damaged one way or the other. As you can see from the picture below, i have tried to straighten out the mouse pad from being bend and unfortunately to say, couldn't. Even after heating the mouse pad, it didn't return to its original condition.

Bendable Surface		Easy installation

So the hint to the user is, DONT BEND IT! When testing the mouse pad with our Logitech mouse, Logic mouse pad performed extremely well. I have played a few rounds of Counter Strike and Dead Space just to see how it would feel. I didn't get to feel pretty much anything. That's just the way it has to be. When it comes to first person shooters it is really important to have traction but not feeling nothing at all.

Conclusion

I like it. It is not always you see me saying something like that but the truth is, its pretty cool. The great design and performance really impressed me while taking Logic under the microscope. One thing i thought was really well thought idea was the semi adhesive material which could be applied and reapplied numerous times. This comes handy at lan parties or even simple table management. What plays a big role here is that i couldn't not feel the mouse pad while playing a game. No its not the fact that i get lost in a first person shooters hahahaha. A small comment on the durability of the Logic. I hated folding the mouse pad to see if it will straight out after a while, but even after few hours it did not returned to its original state. As I've mentioned earlier in the review, don't bend it! I think Logic by XTracPads deserves a pretty high grade. It give me a pleasure to award Logic with 9/10 award.
