Introduction
Few weeks ago we have reviewed the Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 and the results were great! You can check out the full review of Accelero S1 right here. A month or so after the Accelero S1 and S2 were released Arctic Cooling released an addition module for the Accelero S1 and S2. Turbo Module for Accelero is a fan module, which helps the with the cooling and keeps temperatures for the heatsink as cool as possible.
About the Product

Boost up your passive cooling
Turbo Module is an ultimate cooling add-on for enthusiast gamers. The Turbo Module increases the potential power of Accelero S1 and S2 with enhanced cooling performance under extreme quiet operation. Turbo Module helps boost up the GPU and memory overclockability, squeezing more graphic performance than ever before.
Main Features:
- Dual High Performance Fans
- Enhance Cooling Performance
- Extremely Quiet
- High Reliability
- Easy Installation
- Low Weight
- Long Lifetime
- 6 Years Warranty
Designed for Overclocker
Featuring dual high performance low noise fans, Turbo Module was designed to work together with Accelero S1 and Accelero S2 – the widely adopted and award winning passive cooler for numerous ATI and nVIDIA graphic cards. The optimized fan speed dramatically reduces the temperature of GPU, RAM and Voltage Regulator. Turbo Module especially reinforces the PC case overall ventilation, and its clip-on design allows for easy installation.

Both fans are designed to cool down the heatsink and the capacitors that are on the main board.
Testing
I desided to do testing with this product by takeing the temperature readings of the module off and then on. The testing between off and on was done in the lenght of 3 hours. The temperature reading was done by Micro temp temperature reader.

Turbo Module on |
First reading was taken while the Turbo Module was OFF. From 5 random readings i came up to about 81.5 F degrees. From my previous reviews this is very reasonable temperature in the idle state of the video card. In the On state the temperature went down to 76.9 F. This is really good temperature reading. I strongly believe that this particular module would be a good addition to an overclocker, since the idea is to keep temperatures down as much as possible.
Conclusion
I have reviewed the Accelero S1 in the past and was very surprised by the results. With the Turbo Module this mod becomes an active cooling of the GPU. I do believe that the possibilities are very reasonable as far as overclocking goes. According to the temperature readings i saw a drop of about 5 degrees in the idle state. Very impressive! I would love to see Turbo Module working with PWM technology. 10/10!
Some pros we found:
Lightweight.
Nice clamps to keep fans in place.
