Alex Lusakhpuryan

"Alex is the founder and the number one Admin of UMLAN (United Moron's Lan) Alex has been around computers his whole life. He graduated Umass Lowell with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). Computers are a pivotal part of who Alex is; whether at work or at home he just can't get enough of them. Alex was a former Admin for www.lanchelms.com, but after a while he decided to make a lan of his very own. In 2005 Alex did just that by forming UMLan (United Moron's Lan). Alex is definitely not your run of the mill computer geek; in fact if you ever met Alex you'd never guess he'd be a computer I.T. Specialist. He is very dedicated to the UMLan cause and is the turning wheels behind the site and the lan parties. "We’re just cool guys looking to have fun."

With much time spent on finding the next great deal on computer components being a previous college student, he has also developed a great sense of an average gamer’s perspective as well as love for the high end components. He hopes to provide insight into good PC equipment to buy and at a reasonable price, so anyone can get into gaming.

Practically born and raised in California, I laid eyes on my very first computer desktop when Windows 95 was still around. I took apart my first computer when I was 14 years old; stuck with me since. My life has been surrounded by technology and electronics which has lead me to be in the technical field today. On my free time, I enjoy basketball and tennis as well as tinkering with computers and electronic parts.
