Following is a list of important software which has been included on a CD with GA-x79-UD3.

@BIOS (X79)

@ BIOS

@ BIOS is a windows utility by Gigabyte which allows users to update their bios to the latest versions. GA-x79-UD3 comes stock with F7 version of bios so we had to upgrade it to F8. The whole upgrade took just about 5 minutes and this couldn't be easier.

3D Power

3D Power		Frequency

3D Power is another patent pending feature by Gigabyte and it offers Frequency, Voltage and Phase for the whole system. 3D Power is offered by 3 independent digital engines which is a great feature as you should expect only the best from them as far as the stability. By providing independent "phases" it is much better than having one that controls CPU and RAM. As we figured out later RAM itself has two engines, one for each side of the banks.

3D Power is a utility which could be ran directly from Windows and in which you can adjust a great number of settings such as CPU Phase Control and Turbo Voltage Response.

Easy Tune 6

CPU		Memory

Easy Tune 6 gives you great insight on to the a whole system over all right from your Windows. From here you can see all of your setting and statistics about the system. With built in Quick Boost, overclocking is as easy as One, Two Three!

Tuner		Smart

In addition to the easy overclocking you have ability to set thresholds on PWM controllers which come very handy when overclocking your system.

HW Monitor

With Easy Tune 6 and 3D Power you are pretty much in control of the whole BIOS/System from the Windows.

Smart6

Smart 6

Smart 6 give you options on creating what Gigabyte calls a smart system. This application helps users to set up quick boot and use features such as Smart Recover2 and Smart Dual Bios Editor.
